Kimi to Boku 1! What happens when you remove Haruhi from Ouran?...and remove the BL fanservice?

+ Decent production from JC Staff
- Lack of action
- Forgettable theme songs

Quick impression~ This is a slice-of-life series about a group of male childhood friends in high school. I've tried to read the manga on a couple separate occasions, but it's pretty boring despite the clean, attractive artwork. The characters have pretty bland personalities. It's truly about a group of boys; no yaoi, no dramatic love problems with the opposite sex, no sports competition, no other-worldly action. This episode is about the megane-boy trying to get the lazy twin to join a school club. I may stick with the anime if there's nothing else to watch on Mondays.

Tamayura - Hitotose 1! Another slice of life show with photography as its focus.

+ Decent production
- But sleepy pacing
- Forgettable characters

Quick impression~ A young girl, inspired by her deceased father, likes to take photographs. And I thought Kimi to Boku was a bit mundane. A girl blabbing about photos and other random things is a bit more dull. Only watched this episode to see the visuals with Maaya Sakamoto's new song.
