Beethoven Virus 4-6! Maestro Kang is now Simon Cowell with Snape's voice and the occasional waistcoat. Kang wants to quit, but again, doesn't when he hears that his rival, Maestro Jung, would be his replacement. He puts the fear of god into the orchestra and also awes them with his powers of 'hey idiot, there's food in your reed' powers. Jung actually visits Kang and tells him that people don't perform well under stress...enlightenment. Anyway, Kang isn't so stubborn to not see the truth and haha, starts molding Gun-woo (who is horrible at conducting, but has talent) to act as a mediator. He also defeats the interfering mayor and takes on the other troublesome story tags by his awesome self. I'm a little disappointed by what happens to Du Ru Mi in episode 5. If it's not about a musical genius, it's about a musician who is ----. I'm sure anyone could guess the blank. Their first concert was amusing. Kang's talk with the kids was scary. His smile is scary. The city officials are impressed enough to give Kang a permanent position and the orchestra members are thrilled, until Kang tells them he wants professional musicians instead of them. Kang does let some of them audition, but with the exception of the genius, Gun-woo, he scores all of them poorly, including Du Ru Mi. I found her 'situation' a bit cliche, but the writers might be able to do something interesting with her and Kang.
