The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi 9! takes place after episode 1 and is a-day-in-the-life-of episode where nothing catastrophic happens. Haruhi makes Kyon pick up a heater at the electronics store while she secretly takes pictures of Mikuru. Nicely made enjoyable episode.
Jyu oh Sei 7! Thor and Zagi meet and talk. Love at first sight...happens when Karin enters the picture. The multiple themes of gods (nordic and otherwise), colonies, tops, seconds, women, humans, beasts, etc. are quite interesting; great writing makes this definitely the best show to watch each week...well, second only to a few host club episodes.
