o'brien seems to be taking leno's show. yay. i like conan o'brien better than all the other late night talk show hosts. he's funny in an extremely geeky way. i used to like letterman and still like him alot more than leno...but conan is still more entertaining. but honestly, i don't stay up to watch the shows. i just watch the rebroadcasting on comedy central the next day. (although, lately, i've missed them...*sniff sniff*) i think i've been on the internet or watching ellen at that time.

sometimes, i think after you watch enough of the same comedian night after night (as i did in college), you start to know what they're going to say and how they will react, actually, they are still amusing...even with the blandest of guests.
someone said that anne rice's amazon comment went down. hm, i guess inviting buyers to return the book for a refund is a bad idea. finished the book. started off horribly. was pretty humorous. lestat falling in love with every single person he meets is kinda annoying. geez, can't he meet an ugly person now and then? and have a conversation that didn't involve lusting after them? very entertaining ending though. i think all the characters turned into reality television participants. sorta weird.

on a totally different note: this is pretty. i kick myself for being taken in by pretty covers. i did think the $8 book was excellent and would love to read the author's version. i wonder if there will be a not-$200 version. And they're reprinting neverwhere, too. thought that also was an excellent book. i want to reeeaaaad neeeew prettty version.

*tap, tap, tap* waiting for my next book to arrive...

next month is manga reading month...
