i think i saw the abridged version of the harry potter the prisoner of azkaban movie. as a movie, it was nicely made(easier to sit through than the first 2 movies). as a fan, there were a billion little things that i thought were way off. not that i opposed change...understandably, things needed to be changed to fit the time alloted, but geez, important details happened to be glossed over or missing or wrong. not going to list them here, i'm sure someone else has already made a list.

personal gripes include the fact that they all wore american eagle (ish) outfits throughout the movie. emma watson got too much screentime. sirius black might has well been there for 5 seconds rather than 5 minutes. and remus was oddly taller and fatter than everyone on the cast. and his werewolf form was oddly skinny with long, pointy legs.

oh well, still enjoyed watching it. 6.5/10
