seichanho hum.
rented lost in translation which in the traditional of many artsy, foreignish-type films...has almost no plot. it's a nice film about an actor, bob harris, who blah blah....meeting charlotte, young girl. i guess it's about those ppl who are in a city with everything who don't know what to do...or at least that's my take. anyway, being in tokyo actually has nothing to do with anything other than sticking in a few ha ha cliches about japan. the back of the movie says "hilarious"....it is definitely not a comedy. i guess it was about an encounter that is actually based on no meaning but ends up being meaningful. i wished there wasn't that odd sexual tension...cause the movie would have been more positive...instead of having that odd annoying regretful mood at the end. anyway...wasn't worth the hype. there wasn't even good camera-shooting. 6/10.
also rented wilde (heh, emily). will watch tomorrow. very cute cover. (am looking forward to gay legolas)
boo. have to work tomorrow. next week, normal schedule...boo. then the two weeks after i have mondays off. em.
