Level E 3! Just when you think this is taking a serious turn, it's very refreshing that the humor still comes out of left field. I like the alien prince who plays tricks on everyone, the frustrated captain who can't take anymore, and the alien race that goes along for the ride.

Level E 2! The so-far-nameless blond alien bishie turns out to be the prince of his race who was on his way to an intergalactic peace conference before he crashed and lost his memory. In this episode he accidentally kills someone..whoopsies. This continues to have offbeat, fun humor; reminds me a little of X-files.

Level E 1! I was ignoring this title because I thought it was a hardcore yaoi title from some of the promo images of the main character, but when Crunchyroll listed it, I knew I must have been wrong.

Quick impression~ A young man starts high school, and meets a bishonen who claims to be an alien. The comedy was plain weird and unexpectedly timed. Definitely watching this. Especially since the original manga was written by Yoshihiro Yogashi (Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter) This looks like the Japanese version of MIB, but starring the main character of a BL novel or something like that. Anyway, from reviews of the manga, people are quite fond this sci-fi comedy.


Wolverine 1! Another Marvel x Madhouse marriage

+ Animation not as bad as Ironman's production

Quick impression~ Logan's girlfriend is the head yakuza's daughter, and is engaged to a slimeball. Though the overall episode was much better than Ironman's episode 1, still zzzz...


Kore wa Zombie desu ka 1! Zombies, vampires, magical girls, etc.

+ Perverted humor that works sometimes

Quick impression~ A necromancer brings a young murder victim back to life. He lives with the necromancer, and looks for his killer in his spare time. He meets a chain-saw wielding masou (mahou) shoujo. He somehow absorbs her powers and becomes a masou shoujo, too. This show is another fanservice-filled harem anime that is aware of its genre and makes fun of itself. The jokes actually work sometimes, but judging by the amount of fanservice and the other characters in the opening, there will just be too many naked scenes, panties and bouncy boobs for me to tolerate.
