seichanOut of the three jdramas on my list, I didn't expect this one to be the most entertaining.
Ouran High School Host Club 1! jdrama. This is unexpectedly only a half hour drama(?), and episode 1 basically covers the same material the first episode of the anime covers. Haruhi Fujioka stumbles upon the high school host club, and they recruit her into their club after she breaks a vase in the music room. This manga-to-drama adaptation is over-the-top, and I didn't think it would get the comedy right, but it is actually funny. Yusuke Yamamoto does a fairly good job as Tamaki. I admit I didn't expect much from him, since I'd only seen him play minor characters in other dramas. The actress who plays Haruhi did alright, too. The only character that I don't think works well is Honey-senpai. But this is a keeper for now.
