seichanFunny to hear Tiera narrating the trailer for the Macross F movie (okay, Hiroshi Kamiya voices whathisname). Glad to see Segways in future, fictional SF. Last weekend must've been the first touristy weekend of the season. Saw the Seg tour groups out.
Skimmed through the Eurovision videos. Norway was cute and deserved the win. #2 & 3 were pretty generic. There were some weird/creepy ones..Greece.
VAMPS' self-titled album draws its inspiration from vampires which is no big surprise; Vampire Depression, Redrum, Deep Red, Hunting are some of the song titles. There are 7 new songs with 4 previously released songs and 2 instrumental tracks (1 technically a shouting track). Most of the songs are hard rock club songs, Redrum being one that stands out maybe like a Marilyn Manson song. Deep Red isn't bad either. Some of the others sound a bit generic. Sweet Dreams is a pretty ballad. Let's hope the pig flu doesn't scare them away from the US tour although the way Hyde is screaming/shouting/yelling on this album, I'd be surprised that he has any voice left. ~7/10 rating~ - totally counting down the days until Laruku gets back together.
