seichanAlmost forgot about this show. I'm surprised this has a large fanbase despite the lack of scanlations and fansubs, but y'know it's still hard to find good resources and info on this series. Whatever happened to good old-fashioned fansites?...the kind that were run by obssessed fans and updated regularly. Were they replaced by wiki and fan communities?
Kuroshitsuji 2-3! Sebastian has a nice butt and can outrun a car. I enjoyed the fact that he was carrying a bullet-proof tart tray and the silverware with him. In these two episodes, Ciel's aunt, fiancee and a few other side characters are introduced. Sebastian teaches Ciel how to dance...cute. Sebastian can also produce full orchestra sound from one violin. The animation quality went down a little bit, but the episodes were still silly and fun.
Soul Eater 29! Even though this series is in a different genre than Kuroshitsuji, it presents dark scenes with light humor more effectively. The creepiness of some of the scenes and the comedic timing just feels unexpected and fresher. In this episode, Medusa gets a new body. Professor Stein fails at teaching a new technique to the class, but no worries, bad guys always give the good guys plenty of time to power up.
