xxxHolic Kei 2! Woah..a great episode. I didn't think they made xxxHolic like that. Watanuki continues to be an amusing character and this episode did a great job of making his spastic nature funny. I like how the writers pull several pieces of the manga to make several plot elements tie together. Although Himawari is an important figure the anti-boy-love factor, the animators don't really like drawing her that well. For a main female character, the animators like drawing other females more prettily...like the Cat-girl. :) I wish the initial airing of this got the widescreen treatment.



Macross F 2! The Zentradi fleet look like a swarm of flying pickles. Anyway, I'm enjoying the cinematic soundtrack and flying mech scenes. Where are they getting their budget? As predicted, Alto's heroism gets noticed by the military. I like that they shmooshed in some Macross 7 music. I'm surprised that Alto, Sheryl and Ranka got together so soon.
