A quickie anime post...

Gundam 00 12! While watching the Transformers movie, I truly hope that Hollywood never gets its hands on the Gundam franchise. Since the writers decided to focus on the lame teen humans for the majority of the movie, none of the transformers had any personality. And why would they make out on top of Bumblebee with the others watching?...kinky? Thankfully, Optimus Prime's voice reminded me why I was watching. Right, episode 12 is about the middle eastern country of Kadzasantastan and how Ritsuka Setsuna had to fight for his life when he was a child and how he still faces prejudice for being of a Kurdiraqikuwaitirani race. The princess is one step away from being a total annoyance. She is only saved by her Lady Une-like assistant. No more Gundams until the new year.

Naruto Shippuden 40-41! Another one-hour special where they get 2 pages further along in the story. Has the music always been this over the top?

And a holiday question,
Why is there an "Amazon.com for Dummies" book?

a good years over 18. i tend to exaggerate...hehe. the guy at the theater said we (my sister and i) looked nowhere near 18... as usual, short asian girls tend to look younger than the average american.

Actually, I am somewhat certain that the books didn't quite go like that, but hopefully that's the most glaring problem there.

Speaking of which, Transformers was probably the worst movie in the history of the world, but I so didn't care. Optimus Prime HEART HEART HEART. I too questioned the logic of making out on Bumblebee while everybody was watching, however. It gave me the creeps. I also liked it that when the US military nonsensically captured Bumblebee, they instantly started torturing him for no apparent reason. I guess it was just for the childlike whimsy of filming the scene.

If I watched half as much anime as you, I wouldn't have time for anything else. Wow!

i really don't watch much anime. maybe one 20 minute show a day. i think there are 3-4 series that i'm watching right now. it probably is pretty detrimental to my health...not that it will stop me. there was a season where there were like a dozen shows i was following. i must be getting old.
