Finding it too easy to fall behind on kdramas for a few reasons. One being that there are 2 episodes a week. And two being that the hour long show is actually an hour; unlike jdramas where actual show time is 40 minutes. Another reason is the lack of fun background music.

Coffee Prince 6-8! In episode 6, you find that Han-Gyul's only good characteristic is the fact that he is a geek that collects geeky toys.

Starting to feel sorry for Eun-chan since both guys (Han-Gyul and Han-Sung) feel affection for her, but long for the lame pretty girl who has no virtues at all...and is a pretty lame artist to boot. Hm. There really isn't a great reason that Eun-chan shouldn't reveal her true gender. It's not that she's in a all-boys school or anything. I guess her reasons are that 1. Han Gyul wouldn't like that she's been lying all this time and he'd feel reeeeally stupid and angry. 2. She wouldn't be a 'prince' in the coffee shop...and couldn't work there. 3. Their friendship might change if he saw her as a girl. 4. Yeah, Han-Gyul's temper ain't gonna be pretty when he finds out.

Anyway, Han-Gyul's sexual confusion and frustration are taken out on Eun-chan in episode 7, but no worries as they make up at the end. While jdramas feature silently brooding guys, kdrama guys usually have vocal & pissy attitudes.

Episode 8 is awesome as Eun-chan takes the aggressive role as pseudo-seme. She kisses Han-Gyul and confesses man-to-man. Sure it creates more unnecessary drama, but it was unique. It's funny to see Nakatsu from HanaKimi in a humorously confused state, and it's also funny to see Han-Gyul is a more serious confused state. Poor guys. Anyway, Han-Gyul and Eun-chan aren't the prettiest of couples on tv, but the show is well-acted and well-played out. Plus, all the traditional Korean food is yummilicious eye-candy. My only reluctance in jumping on this show is that the side stories -the half-japanese angsty employee, the little sister's romance, the mother's romance, the sick grandmother, the lame girl's romance- aren't nearly as interesting as the main story.

Yamada Tarou Monogatari 5! For someone who gets the best grades in the elite class, Tarou is a pretty shoddy roofer. Cavity-inducing episode-the cute will kill you. This is a day-in-the-life-of episode. There's also a little boy-love in this episode, if you aren't getting enough from HanaKimi and Coffee Prince.
