The fangirls in the manga thought Haruhi's secret was that she and Tamaki were gay lovers, and totally supported that idea...until Haruhi's father says goodbye to his 'daughter', and then they were crushed.
I thought it might be a raccoon because the host club are visiting Boston...though they could have brought the tanuki and chicken as presents from Japan.
Mori was an awesome character. I enjoy japan's idea of a manly male character.
