fruity thoughts

The manga, Fruits Basket, is coming to a close (ppl have been saying 3? more chapters). Here're my thoughts so far:
+ Hanajima and Kazuma are pretty cute together. (and the least annoying pairing).
- Plot straying from the curse and focusing on brainless therapy and 'hooking' up was disappointing.
--- Akito being a lonely girl having a crazed mother like the rest of them was so unoriginal.
---- Yuki hooking up with Tohru's twin is very lame.
---- Ayame not being gay..*weep*.
+++ Momiji is grown up and hot and still single.
- Plot hasn't been funny in well over 50 chapters.
- What happened to the animals and nekid transformations?
(more impressions later after I see how it ends)

I also did a marathon watching of Jigoku Shoujo. It had an interesting conclusion with a slightly more violent explanation than I had expected. I wouldn't say it was a great show since none of the characters attracted you in (it was dull much of the time), but for something to pass the time, it had a haunting atmosphere and visually, it reflected that feeling.

Ouran Koukou Host Club 7! was entertaining as usual. This episode focused on Mori and Honey who are still a bit squeaky in my book.

ok, now you have to post a picture of what momiji looks like all grown up. unless that guy in the yukata is momiji?

here (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=F395A57130F98E79) is the chapter where momiji realized that he was free from the curse. very cute and sad chapter. he visits his mom who still doesn't know she's his mom and he tells kyou that he'll take tohru if kyou doesn't do something.

the guy in the pic up there is kazuma (kyou's sensei). i think there was an episode in the anime where hanajima wanted to marry kazuma and wondered if it was going to be troublesome to have a son as big as kyou.
