manga market = high school?

this article is a highly entertaining review of many of the major american distributers of manga.

my take:
viz is the popular girl that sleeps around and dreams of becoming a hair dresser.

tokyopop is the popular jock who "he can't always be bothered to remember your name" and also cannot remember his own name.

digital manga publishing is the cool, quiet, badly-dressed, gay guy who will be the obnoxious, loud, badly-dressed gay guy once he leaves high school. (boy love body wash...HA HA).

del ray as the goth girl? ha ha. del ray is the copy cat who rides on the coat tails of others...but at least has some brains..and money.

ditto for CMX...except his brains are leaking onto the floor.

i'd say the same for ADV manga, except for the fact that he also has temporary bouts of mental illness and plain stupidity.
