seichanwent on a little trip to visit sis in VA. we went shopping, ate lots, breezed through the rembrandt and drawing exhibit at the national gallery, shopped a little more, and ate a little more. we wandered around dupont circle for a bit. beadazzled is a cute shop with pretty beads. i got a strawberry shaped bead that i'll put on a necklace.
during our off hours we watched i 'heart' huckabees which was mildly amusing, but not good. we wanted to watch millenium actress but when we took the dvd to the counter, we found out someone ran off with the actual dvd and left the cover. oh well. sis has comcast on demand. i scanned through the anime channels. i was happy happy to see l'arc en ciel's jiyu e no shoutai video on the anime network's bento box. i watched doggie poo (eep!) and slept through black jack. everything else was kinda bad. anime characters lose some of their seriousness when the american voice actor isn't very talented. wendee lee is not a good voice actress. why is she in everything? she sucked as sailor moon and she is still really bad. crispin freeman is ok. only a few lines that come out of his mouth are laughable.
the last fun thing we did was grocery shop for our parents at han ah reum...aka hmart. got some yummy instore-made kimchee and green ricecake flavored with honey.
woke up with a tummy ache. too much yummy fatty foods make tummy unhappy.
