Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de jdrama 1! Arashi's Sho Sakurai plays a butler who helps his heiress/junior detective/boss, Reiko Hosho, solve crimes. It's not Kuroshitsuji, but it is light-hearted and cute in its own way. The first episode covers Kageyama (Sakurai)'s first day at his job in which he secretly watches over his charge trying to solve a murder case. Reiko's boss is a wealthy businessman who is also a senior detective/playboy. He is the comic relief; ie. his deductions are bad. Kageyama easily explains who is the culprit (after dinner), and calls Reiko stupid, but admires her 'purity'. I guess Reiko and her boss's upbringing sheltered them from everyday knowledge, human evils, or something to that effect. The episode was fairly funny and had flashes of comic book stylings. The production is quite good. The downside is that it appears to be formulaic -- crime happens, Reiko tries to solve it, butler explains it, Reiko gets in trouble, butler saves her, etc.
Chihayafuru 3! The flashback continues as the trio of Chihaya, Taichi and Arata only get to play competitively together once before life circumstances separate them. Very sweet episode.
