Cameo!

Fate/Zero 3! Hey, they're planning to take out Clinton. Waver and Rider are amusing. Didn't peg Kiritsugu as the cheating type.

Fate/Stay Night 1-5! Tried to watch this, but the animation production is definitely lacking. Shirou is an orphan who likes to fix things, and wants to save people. I can see why people gave this series a low rating. The pacing of the show is occasionally slow, but I think it's the cheapo animation that does it in. When characters say serious things, but look badly drawn, it just doesn't come across well. Amused that Lancer vs. Saber is the first fight in both series. Anyone know if this is worth continuing?

Hunter x Hunter 2011 3! Gon and the others reach the start of the exam. The bean-head character's head is green instead of pink. Killua's brother has a green outfit instead of pink, too. Hisoka turns a contestant's arms into flowers? Most of the episode was about how Tonpa tried to take out the rookies with laxative-laced soda. He basically introduces the minor characters.

The fall asian drama listing doesn't have many must-see shows, but I'll pick a few to do some preliminary reviews...

Kaseifu no Mita jdrama 1! A spooky and very stoic housekeeper is hired to take care of a household run by an indecisive, recently widowed office worker. He has 4 children. In the first episode we learn that Mita will do anything the client asks of her; even if the 5-year old daughter asks her to commit suicide with her so that the daughter could see her mother in heaven; of course, one of the other children happens by and stops them. Nanako Matsushima's portrayal of the housekeeper reminds me of Takako Matsu's character in Kokuhaku; thus, the spooky. I think this will end up a heart-warming tale of how the family breaks through the housekeeper's robotic demeaner, and maybe how she will help them cope without their mother. Still, it was a good intro episode because of the slightly dark atmosphere. Actually, the wiki entry says this falls under the mystery category, so maybe it won't be the typical family-focused drama. hm.
