nine tails are better than one

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho 1! kdrama. A gumiho is like a female Naruto in anime terms..hehe; turning into a nine-tailed fox, literally. Dae-woong is a budding actor tolerated by his wealthy grandfather and aunt. He finds a painting of a fox at a temple, and unintentionally lets her loose. She follows him into the world 500 years after she was imprisoned. Mi-ho is a bossy, bold, naive character while Dae-woong is an awkward, almost good-for-nothing, kind-hearted type of character. You kinda wonder why Dae-woong isn't jumping for joy at a pretty girl getting attached to him. He spends much of the time being annoyed her. He has to stay with her since her 'bead' is keeping him alive after sustaining a life-threatening injury. There's also a pretty boy who was guarding (?) her, but now has to hunt her down. It looks like he was in love with her in the past. The comedy between the main characters feels forced in some areas, but the 'adult' romance between Dae-woong's aunt and the trench coat guy is refreshingly silly. The over-the-shoulder Heimlich maneuver was amusing. I don't think I'll be sticking with this drama, but maybe if I have more downtime, I'll come back to it.

Uraboku 19! We see Kuroto and Senshiro's past. Oh the pain. Senshiro even broke off his engagement to become Kuroto's partner; and the BL fangirls squee. I like the token red-headed bad guy. If he had a chain-saw, that'd be awesome.

Hotaru no Hikari S26! the wedding is back on..I think. I love the fact that Buchou actually wears whatever Hotaru buys him.

Natsuniji 3-4! Taiga's mom thinks that her late husband had affairs with all the women who sent him fan letters. She convinces Taiga that Shiori's daughter is a love child. Of course, there were no affairs, but we find that Shiori's husband past away and she can't forget him. Taiga tells Shiori to forget about his confession, but things are still awkward between then. The show is still failing in the comedy area, but sweet moments pop up every once in a while.
