Run, run gingerbread man

Aoi Bungaku 9-10! this covers Run Melos by Osamu Dazai who also wrote the first arc to the anime series. I think they were re-using Mouryou no Hako's piano music in this arc. Takeshi Konami's Tenipri eyes can be seen in the character design. It matches the 'friendship' beyond lovers theme that is seen in this story. *hyu~ BL...boy nipple! his toga is falling!* Alright, the theme wasn't actually 'yaoi'. It was about the pain of waiting and the power of trust. Madhouse's artwork is so lovely again and again. Even though Madhouse is pimping Kobato out their arses, it is this show that has their top people working on it. They take the stories, and give them a trippy interpretation with just great animation. I also think these stories are getting more optimistic as each one passes. Maybe no one will actually die in the last two stories.
