It's not Cold Stone?
Feb. 3rd, 2009 10:06 pmAh, my weekly squee-fest. I thought the ice cream parlor was Cold Stone, but the credits listed Baskin Robbins. Didn't know they did the whole mixing thing there, too. But then again, the Cold Stone in Korea packs cakes with dry ice & candles and the Dunkin Donuts in Korea sells yummy-looking cakes. Why do foreign countries get the upscale version of American fastfood?
Boys Before Flowers 9! love the breakfast scene cause it's so Korean. Can't say that making kimchee is an entire family thing, but hey, it's good to see that kind of family activity promotion in dramas. Ji-hoo's character is now the nice-guy character from 'My Girl'; Lee Junki's character who spent the rest of the series looking pretty, being super-nice and pining for the girl. Gotta love those characters..especially if they carry drugs in their pockets. Also love Yi-jung's Kenny G approach to seducing girls. haha. funny episode. In episode 10 we see the infamous cookie faces now, as chocolate. Yum! It's pretty interesting that Jun-pyo kinda gets Ji-hoo's seconds (Jandi, the apple, the chocolate)...or is that just too obvious? Hey, didn't their BL vibes come in later in the story? Anyway, episode 10, no Jan-di, don't fall for the slimy pumpkin porridge man's tricks.
