No sense at all

Macross F 18! There's a new opening with Sheryl and Ranka singing 'Lion' and it again emphasizes the love triangle. And like the first opening, the visuals suggest that Sheryl and Ranka will have to sing naked to save the galaxy. But wait, there's an outdoor sales person trying to sell Alto a dress. So if you squint, it's a show about three girls fighting over each other; not about war with insect aliens. Also, if you squint really hard, Alto's brother does indeed look like Alto or maybe Sheryl needs glasses or a bra. With the shiny, new opening, I thought that this episode would have better than average animation, but no, the 2D animation still reeks. (There is something seriously wrong with how Sheryl's boobs are hanging out of her dress)



Soul Eater 18! Before this episode, it seemed like each episode arc was somewhat independent of each other; ie. one-shots. But it seems we get to the core of the series now. Y'gotta wonder at Shinigami's ho-hum personality, the existence of Maka's mother and for that matter, Kid's mother. In this episode, Medusa attacks.
