Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations OVA 1! Though Clamp is calling it an OAD, I don't think I'll be calling it a medical term on my lj. It's a good ova; basically felt like a tv episode with a good budget and without the inept animators..well, I think one of them snuck in the studio and without the tv story inanities. This ova series basically won't be much use to anyone who is not familiar with the manga. I guess that is redundant seeing how you can only buy it with the manga. This first ova covers a good chunk of the Acid Tokyo arc of the manga; chapitres 107 to 115. Kamui looks pretty good with all the cloak-swooshing, eye-flashing and dark brooding. I am looking forward to the blood-splattering which looked very cool in the manga; blood-thirsty moi. The Tokyo arc goes to chapitre 135, so really, they can cover it all, but maybe leave out the egg-hunting section if need be.



The next one comes out in January.

Everyone was holiday shopping today; swarms of people everywhere. Makes me want a gingerbread man cookie.

The best train ride ever!

Baccano 10-12! watched these episodes twice because there was so much happening. I love how equally violent and humorous this show is. Miria and Isaac are such pure, silly characters while Ladd Russo and Claire Stanfield(the Rail Tracer) are pure, insane maniacs. This is one show where wiki actually is somewhat helpful though its character list is missing a dozen people or so. i wish I could read the novels since they seem so rich in story. In these episodes, Jacuzzi is trying to save people, Ladd and the Rail Tracer face off, and man, you feel really bad for Czeslaw *poor kid*. The car theft in episode 12 really made me laugh. One more episode is left.
