Not this one

There doesn't seem to be any must-see dramas this season. I picked a handful to watch, but subs seem to be slow. The lack of pretty boys must not inspire the fangirl translators. There is a pretty boy show, Yukan Club, but it looks terribly corny like that Princess Princess D drama.


Dream Again 1! jdrama. This stars Sorimachi Takashi from GTO fame as a pro baseball player who gets laid off because of a shoulder injury. He reluctantly becomes a salaryman. One day he tells his fiancee that he wants to postpone their wedding and to go back to baseball. That goes over well with her. He also gets struck by lightening and dies. Tanaka is his guide to heaven. Apparently they made a mistake and give him another chance, but since his body is gone, he can live the life of a president of a fund company. I mistakenly thought this might be a comedy. It's more of a feel-good drama with predictable plot elements such as the unexpected daughter and the mourning fiancee. *zzz*
