bumpybear visited and we watched...

Marie Antoniette which was extremely pretty. Hopefully the costume director and art director and other visual workers get proper acknowledgement. it's not like normal ppl like me will bother to look up their names...ha. It was certainly not the kind of dramatization I was expecting. If I had remembered Sophia Coppola's Lost in Translation, maybe I would have gotten it more quickly. In a slap-dab-type summary, it's the child of wishful historical fact and MTV with colored sprinkles. Don't expect earth-shattering dialogue, because when the actors do speak, it's mildly horrid. BUt, Louis XVI was very amusing.

Hana Yori Dango S2 8! in which Shigeru gets to show some skin. Other than that, Rui gets to show that the nice guy role never pays. Ah! the exciting wet-hair scene comes in next week. *swoon*
