seichanBeen noticing the price of Ouran Host Club on Blu-ray dropping the last few days. Now, it is lower than the DVD box set. 26.99 is a great price. Click. Now, if only that $200 electric drill would drop to 26.
The Legend of Legendary Heroes/Denyuuden 2! I'm glad it got a nickname. *spoilers* This episode opens with Sion getting beaten up, his mother dying, and his dead dog being delivered to him. We then see him years later in military school meeting Ryner for the first time, and later, Ferris. I'm appreciative of the straightforward flashback. Sion wants to be king to get revenge on a country that gave him a crappy childhood. Ryner with a hinted-at, equally crappy past, takes a more aloof approach to life and wants to stay out of the limelight, especially because of his Alpha Stigma power. And Ferris just takes orders from her mysterious, all-knowing brother. A neighboring country starts war. From the first episode, I thought this would take a high-level comedy approach to fantasy storytelling, a possible parody. From this episode, it seems like it will show normal anime fantasy humor.
