first, it was non-stop soft rock..and now xmas tunes all day long.

'the happy elf' by harry connick jr is one of the lesser loathsome songs mostly because it's insane and i don't believe it's about christmas at all.

a particularly irritating song is whitney houston's rendition of 'the christmas song' where she adds a wailing 'Happy Chanukah' and 'Happy Kwanzaa' randomly at the end...because santa is obviously the figurehead for those holidays, too.
