look inside?

y'know, that 'look inside' feature at amazon doesn't really mean look inside. it means look at all the stuff that really doesn't tell you if the content is good or not. like---the cover, cover flap, table of contents, index, back flap and back cover. a few books i've looked like may have the first page...which is usually drivel. but those are the bestseller books that you can pick up at any bookstore or library. i'd rather take a peek inside a non-mainstream book before buying it, but then again, that's business for ya.
