sunday is halloweeny day
Oct. 31st, 2004 09:12 pm4 calls. some bush. some kerry. stupid kerry..thought you were too good for phone calls. one call was an actual live person. not a recording.
i'm jealous of those who get extreme makeovers. not only do they get problems fixed (problems at could be solved with just a bit of effort), they also get a load of free stuff. seriously, did that family need a tv in every single room. sure, encourage them to become couch potatoes. and really, it's not that extreme when you have a sky-high budget and 40 extra men to help. we have one stinkin contractor who can't even demolish a pool. it's been...i swear, at least 3 weeks. with the money we've given him, we could've remodeled 3 rooms already.
made crab cakes today. not bad. could have used more oil to fry them. i'll put more veggies in it next time also.
had lazy-arse kids in pathetic costumes this year. putting your pjs on and putting your hair in pigtails is not cute. where's the halloween spirit gone?
