closing the doooor
Jun. 16th, 2004 11:04 pmi quit my teaching position. yes! mainly because i never got enough students. i didn't enjoy it all that much. i'll have 2 classes and almost 30 hours/week for work. i am too sleepy during my off-days. and i want to have time to actually create something good...rather than my 2-3hour throw-away stuff. *sigh*
i sometimes wonder why i didn't get students. i'd want me to teach me. purely based on what is in the catalog. i kinda have more education. and i have a more interesting name than joe smith. it might be because of the times i chose to have my classes and my lack of experience. actually, the older-older students have said that they'd never take a class from a young person. and yes, they said that while i was in the room. remembering that scene makes me want to drive really fast around the neighborhood right near the curb. oh well, i'm still somewhat dejected.
if i ever got the opportunity to teach ppl who are actually interested in things other than watercolors of flowers, i may go for it.
