what happens when you add an extra egg, more flour, butter instead of veggie oil to a cookie-in-a-box recipe? you get an excellent almost-homemade cookie. there is still a slight manufactured-from-the-box-chemical taste that i can't quite identify....BUT the cookies turned out less-sickeningly sweet and more cake-y and thicker. yum! i guess if i just took the extra ingredients and altered the measurements, i could've made actual homemade cookies....*scratches head*
