Naruto Shippuden 1! Hey, wow..high drama & really high quality animation. *spoilers* Starts off with a flashforward and small flashbacks. I loved the little extra older character meet previous character segment. *Cute!* Even though the anime added things to make the episode longer, if they are all silly fun like the Kakashi-sensei part, I'll be entertained indeed. And if the intro didn't do it, the ending! definitely added more fuel to the yaoi-fire. My only concern is that like Bleach, they don't have all that much manga story to keep going to too long, so fillers may creep up again. Anyway, it was an excellent new beginning. This extra-long episode covers Kakashi challenging the older Naruto and Sakura and the intro complete with DRAMATIC music of the new bad guys in Sand Wind Country.

Bleach 115! Matsumoto's assets are featured alot and Hitsugaya explains all about the Arrancar...the whole explanation is dull and boring. Aizen, the librarian turned pimp, gets the last word. The shinigami's cup used to be funny, but now is very random nonsense.


Nodame Cantabile 6! Have to agree with everyone who says that the music takes a background position in the anime. In this episode, Sakura is introduced. I was going to refrain from comparing the jdrama, but anime-Sakura is pretty plain. Nodame and Chiaki are the only characters that seem to keep their unique personalities...thanks to excellent seiyuu. Everyone else seems a bit more tame.

The SMAP x SMAP meets Death Note special was cute. I like the implication that the pseudo-Death Note causes obesity. ♥ SMAP.
