Level E 13! the end. haha, a couple more twists to wrap up the show. The Baka Prince and his servants were great characters; Kraft was particularly fun to watch. Despite misleading promo images and the old-school animation style, the show was just filled with mischief and well-paced comedy. I liked the fresh take on the sci-fi genre with its solid writing. ~10/10 rating~ easily the best show the past winter and definitely re-watchable. I think I will now read the manga to see what had been left out.

Level E 12! Baka Prince's younger brother and fiancee come a knocking. There's a conspiracy. I'm going to miss this show when it ends.

Kimi ni Todoke S2 11! News of the relationship gets out. Pin makes fun of them while the other students need confirmation. Funny episode.

Level E 11! another cute episode as the baseball player from episode 1 returns. His team gets transported to another dimension along with the Baka Prince who was hiding in the team's bus.


Kimi ni Todoke S2 10! their feelings finally reach each other in this nicely made episode. Perfectly-timed sunset is standard in shoujo anime.


xxxHolic Rou Adayume OAD! Haruka hires Watanuki peer into his grandson's wet dreams. Kohane doesn't mind a threesome. It's a shame Production IG used their cheap production staff to work on xxxHolic. CLAMP's visuals suffered because of the corner cutting.

Tegami Bachi: REVERSE 23! We finally see what happened to Gauche at Akatsuki. He got to snuggle up with Lag's mother who apparently took his heart. Seems like she powers the artifical sun or something like that. Gauche and the Bees fight to prevent the Cabernet from reaching Central.

Level E 10! was a straightforward episode this time. The Color Rangers save a mermaid. I like how the blue ranger is so much like Gon from HxH. Cute & happy episode!

Level E 9! Alien sex-change shoujo-like story sponsored by Pizza Hot...Cute.

Kimi ni Todoke S2 8! A lengthy build-up to a realization. And the school festival.

Tegami Bachi: REVERSE 22! I like the little postal workers with their hats with sparkley bees.

Not that I love this manga or anything. I think I've mentioned how awful the typesetter and/or cover designer at Tokyopop is. I didn't think BLU had the same awful person, but if the above is the final artwork, it is the same person. Looks like scribble, scribble, scribble, click on ugly font, type, type, type, click on ugly add-ins.

Yaoi manga have some ugly cover illustrations; usually with two guys performing acts of contortion. One guy usually has his shirt open and butt sticking out. Sometimes the cover just has two guys groping/hugging with constipation written on their faces.
I do like these covers. The font choice and placement are great. The characters look like they are part of some kind of wealthy gentlemen's club; the secret, naughty kind...haha.

Speaking of such things...Level E 8! Haha, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, but the beginning threw me off track. Kraft is a great character; spastic, extreme, etc. The Prince actually leaves him alone in this episode. The first arc was a sci-fi parody, the 2nd was a sentai parody and this was a romantic comedy parody...with the alien twist. The sparklies were a nice touch as was the use of the Santa statue.

Level E 7! The Color Rangers face the final boss, the Demon Lord.

And for upcoming anime...
Yay, more Nyanko-sensei! Natsume Yuujinchou will get a 3rd season.

Level E 6! The Baka Prince sends the kids to an RPG planet to torment them a little more. :)

Tegami Bachi: REVERSE 19! Zazie vs. Jeel with a side of melodrama.

Beelzebub 6! Baby's toys from hell create problems. The execution of the show is flat; ie. it's not that funny. Dropped.

Level E 5! Once again, delighted at the turn of events during the 2nd half of the episode. Baka Prince (I think this might be his official name) kidnaps a few kids and transforms them into Color Rangers to defeat the bad aliens on Earth; the first one being their homeroom teacher. The kids' reactions to their situation is funny as they find it more embarrassing & annoying than cool.

Beelzebub 5! Oga vows not to fight, so that his contract with baby Beelzebub breaks, but naturally, he fights to save his friend and the maid from another gang leader.

Arashi's Android CMs are cute. I wish we had cute commercials in the US.

Level E 4! A group of students witness a student eating another student. They look for the murderer in order to stay away from him...haha. While the main part of the episode was an interesting sci-fi tale, I like the punch at the end. Very amusing. I'm glad this show airs at the beginning of the week.
