Guin Saga 1-2! Not sure why I decided to watch this, but it reminds me of Jyu-Oh-Sei x He-Man.

+ Interesting main characters
+ Fast-pacing
+/- Ok production

Quick impression~ Royal twins with a 'prophecy' are on the run from the Mongols(?) who just killed their parents, and destroyed their kingdom. The servant who helped them escape accidentally transported them to the 'wrong coordinates'...(made me laugh). The twins land in a dangerous forest, and meet a half-leopard man, Guin, who saves them from the pursuing army. He don't remember his past. I'm hoping the younger twin, Remus, isn't wimpy & whiny for too long. In episode 2, we get introduced to a better-looking character...who unfortunately seems to have taken a liking to Rinda(Linda?) the female twin...I think she is 12.

Sengoku Basara 2-3! still thriving on obnoxious heroes who blaze onto the battlefield, not sure if I'm interested in this show. The over-the-top personalities and fights are amusing, but with so many factions involved, it's hard to follow who's doing what for whom. The production is pretty at times, so I may give this another couple episodes to develop whatever it is they are trying to sell.

It's hard to believe that Guin Saga took this long to be anime-ized. It's only Japan's longest-running umpty-bajillion novel sci-fi epic...But hey, if I watch the anime, it's like reading the books, but not boring or difficult!

I've seen it transcribed "Linda."

The L/R always up for debate..^_^
