Salt-lickin' good
People seem determined to feed me as much fast food as they can this week. Tis a good thing vitamins and Tums exist.

Code Geass 23! ran out of time to air 24-25. For an anime where the writers and directors are simply going with the flow, it does create a good deal of excitement. Fictional mass carnage seems to appeal to people.
Great things about this episode~
1. Euphemia/Lacus/Princess Leia dies

2. Intriguing new male character with long, long black hair (ah, CLAMP creates pretty characters) and V.V. turns out to be a cute little boy with long, long blond hair.

3. Zero was a big ham in a previous life.

4. Very lovely or disturbing closeups of everyone's angst-ridden faces.

5. Orange-kun/Jeremiah was apparently being boiled in orange juice.
...I just realized (from this that Code Geass => COD EGE ASS => GOD EGO ASS ..which is a pretty intelligent use of text.

Bleach 120! Ah! the smackdown right before the power-up. I wish Hitsugaya got a lengthier fight. He's cute with his short-self and large ice wings. I enjoy a bad guy who talks and talks and talks...and has Edward Scissorhand-like weapons.

Nodame Cantabile 11! The anime actually features a lengthy part of Rachmoninoff's concerto and it didn't drag. The way the animators animate the instrument-playing is somewhat interesting. Chiaki's fingers looked a little inhuman/rubbery. Wish they didn't use cgi for the instruments...but generally, it's not that bad. It's nice to hear Nodame's piano versions of orchestral pieces. muu~ I wish I could play by ear.

Death Note 24! didn't know this was a comedy, did ya? The red eyes were amusing in the beginning, and in this episode, they are even more amusing. The dreaded event is upon us as Light's plan (which was admittedly pretty clever) comes to fruition. It's a little disappointing that Light embraces power so readily. *ah well*
Light is starting to pale in contrast with Lelouch/Zero in terms of who is the biggest ass. Light kills off a bunch of criminals, caused Misa/his girlfriend's life to shorten once more & is about to kill off his best bud. Lelouch kills off a bunch of soldiers, his half brother, his half sister & a bunch of innocent citizens.
Death Note ~The Last Name~ put me to sleep about 20 minutes in. I think I gave a fair opinion of the first movie, only criticizing the slow pace. Well, the pace is still slow, the acting gets worse and everything else forgettable. I think many stories start off strong because of the initial introduction to unique characters in a unique situation. Same thing happened here with the first live-action movie, and with the majority of stories, the uniqueness dies. I'll give this another go when I'm in the mood (or have had more Cherry Coke on hand).

Negima 14! Still a visual masterpiece...I hope the fansubbers are still working on this. Negi creates contracts with all the girls in the class. Very cheap but cool animation as they jump into the sky.
