no chibi-kakashi in episode 200 or 201 or 202...more fillersssss. that'll teach me to listen to a large community that had cited no actual basis for such claims.

clamp_now started out as a yahoo group, 2k strong, which started getting spam of all sorts. yahoo and msn groups have horrible inflexible layouts...which led me to livejournal, another free community space with organization galore. I initially wanted a news and release-friendly site for me to leech easily, but due to the type and wideness of the fanbase, it seems updating and scrounging around is up to me...but there are a few ppl who contribute great stuff. (oi, someone said it was getting 'stupid'...go me!)
shiho_s_diamond was as far as I know, the only Silver Diamond community at the time it was created. It needs no monitoring since the fanbase is quite small and projected at people with similar tastes...mm..soft boy-love. The manga doesn't run in a mainstream magazine and the chapters come out monthly or not at all. It's a great manga though and the community does keep growing.
code_geass will be a new and different trial since it's centered around a new mech anime that is not based on a manga. (wonders how the demographic of the fans will play out..there is already some wankage over the thin-ness and design of the characters...men need manly mech-lovin characters every once in a while, i guess). Gonna let this one run itself as the Silver Diamond one does with the occasional check here and there. If the anime is super-popular, I hope the frivolous posting doesn't get too bad, but I doubt it'll turn out like a furuba or hagaren group. The two main characters look like a CLAMP-ified Asuran and Kira...which probably means that they were great friends as chibis and now fight on opposite sides...but they will get tons of staring/glaring/smoldering looking opportunity. I do hope that female character is not the next Lacus..but....eh..the seiyuu does have some singing on her resume..please no singing C.C.
Side notes:
~Seems like the best, most organized, most resourceful communities are run by guys and/or yaoi fangirls...seriously..haha...and then they start get really popular and start wanting 'donations...da dum.
~Things that irk me are posts where people try to sell things clearly for a high profit. Communities aren't there to rip people off. I hope people research yen-to-dollar conversions before ever buying stuff from 'fans'.
~Fanart, fan-icons, fanfics...sometimes bother me. Not against fan-created things, but maybe they should be posted in a group by recommendation only. or maybe there should be a note saying, 'you must be able to take criticism.' But actually I guess it's supposed to be a fun thing. It does get bothersome when a community gets overrun by it.

i've seen enough high profit sales posts to hate them already. this DN notebook was 8 times the price i got it, and it's not even exactly "genuine" O____O;;
