Looking for an artbook, but found...

Just noticed that Amazon.com has alot of their anime sets on sale for up to 51% off. Instead of getting Baccano volume 1 for $31, you can get the whole series for $28.

Anime licensing wishlist - Mouryou no Hako (on Blu-ray), Nodame Cantabile (the live-action version, too.)

Brain is mushy...post normal tomorrow...

No clue whether he's singing in engrish or not in this Pepsi CM

Wasn't going to sit through a reality tv show about whiny marriages, so ta-da, Alanis's closing performance, Avril's..Nickelback...no pirate love there? Have to agree with the general public that NBC's coverage of the Olympics was quite lopsided and lame.

Rambling on

Oh yeah, Avatar...*yawn* did the $500 million budget included thousands of cgi fairies and one writer that was paid in hot dogs?

There are only 2 manga blogs I follow and one of them doesn't update anymore. I did eventually read up on the xxxHolic roundtable---I mean, I read the round-up to see if there was anything worth reading. The more enjoyable posts are by those who don't like it; this guy, this guy, this guy, this gal-maybe...and then this post. All in all, wtf did I spend 15 minutes on?

For more interesting topics that might have some coherency and at least some laughs...
Give--
Death Note to child psychologists and priests
Full Metal Alchemist and/or Naruto to Superman fans
Love Mode and/or Junjou Romantica to guys at a gay bar
Yotsuba& to everyone/anyone

LJ's huge-arse ads

Is that annoying splash/video ad popping up on all livejournal user sites? or only the ones where people are using the account-type where they allow ads (even if you are logged-in)? Those ads are very annoying since they prevent you from viewing a site until the ad stops playing...and the x button doesn't work properly.

home improvements make me sleepy

Photobucket

Iljimae 13-14! Almost done...I have no hope for any of my fav characters surviving...outside of the big-breasted woman and possibly the greasey gang leader. (hopefully, this does not have a Hong Gil Dong ending) In these episodes, Yong finishes his training and returns. The town is up against a drunk hit-and-run driver. There was great commoners versus king action during that, but gotta love the random 'can I borrow a hammer' scene. Episode 14 doesn't bode well for Yong's father. The sly stylists or marketing people are making Yong/Iljimae look a little bit more handsome as the episodes go by. ♥

New toys: The new Batman Kubrick doll looks like he has boobs from that angle. The Joker looks scary.

So modding communities is pretty amusing.

political phone calls

I wonder what kind of politician thinks pre-recorded phone messages are what really gets votes. Apparently both Republicans and Democrats do think it works. Right, asinine phone calls and lame commercials always make me more sympathetic towards a candidate. But really, they should give out free pencils...or ice cream. Bribing the little people isn't a ploy used often enough.

...Angelo's new PV and song, Reborn, brings a new sound to the remnants of Pierrot. I glad, because there was still much head-banging to be had. Kirito also seems more active in the PV and I do hope that his more unique dance moves are not a part of this new group. +++ for new evolved music.

Btw, anyone know how to tell if a wireless pc card is going bad?
