2008 almost done...
Hm, was going to go through my journal to see what was memorable, but sounded like way too many posts to sift through, so decided to go by my swiss-cheese memory instead.
Memorable anime: Natsume Yuujinchou and Code Geass (Soul Eater and Gundam 00, too, but they are still airing, so they don't really count). I suppose I watched a few dozen other shows...eh, gotta cut down on that habit.
Memorable manga: Um...I'm positive I read a ton of manga...ah ha, I read all the available manga from Yuki Midorikawa (Natsume Yuujinchou). Her works range from sweet to bittersweet. And I remember hunting for Hokuto Yamagishi works (she only has like 3 things out there that I know of, and I suspect she also works under another pen name). Her artwork reminds me of early 1900's fairytale illustrations...but with more boy-love of course.
Oh! and Naruto went shopping for makeup while his hometown got blown up. I'm sure the cosplayers will be all over that orange eyeshadow. I enjoyed the whole training a la frog story arc of the Naruto manga. And Yotsuba&! is another manga that never fails to humor me.
Memorable asian dramas: Ashita no Kita Yoshio was the only unexpectedly well-written one. I think I watched alot of kdramas, but none of them scream 'rewatch-me'.
Books & music?...hm, save that for another post.
